WOAH! I love how you played with the lights and darks of the piece. It really gives a feeling of despair. I'm not quite sure about the bit of orange light on the ghost. but maybe I don't understand how light works. Yeah that's probably it.

Hi! Thanks for your review :D About the colors; I wanted to make a different kind of ghost. I felt like ghosts are usually depicted as if they were made out of gas or something. I wanted my ghost to be made out of some kind of glassy reflective material. You've probably seen the way white light separates when going through a prism. I used that same principle and applied it to the ghost. Thats why there is a kind of a rainbow pattern of light shinning on the ghost :D I really hope that makes sense, I am still improving my english :D

I feel like there's a lot of different colors going on that don't match quite well. The rubble turned out Great. I like how you defined the rocks and the shine of the metal in the bottom right.

The snow was a smart idea for the setting! I feel like the bit on the wire could be a bit more fleshed out though.

[WaterColour of Loss]

I love the dripping effect! I like how it shows a connection between the man and woman. Though I'm not a big fan of the texture, I appreciate the feel it gives the piece.

Thank you, yeah the watercolour texture wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea ^^' but definitely wanted to use it in this piece to roughen things up, enhance the harshness of the overall setting. Love that the drips are achieving their goal in most people's eyes thus far :)

I did a moon in mine submission as well but yours is a lot better. My favorite part of this piece is the faint glow from the gravestone.

The lighting in this piece is a little odd in some places like the hair and top of the cross but I love how you made the roses match the ghost!

The grass is super bright. It kinda draws your eye away from the rest of piece. I do love what you did with the sky. It looks like a storm!

I agree about the grass looking at it again now but oh well i was readjusting to using a tablet so im not dissapointed with it i had a lot of fun doing. But thankyou for the compliment on the sky
